J.J. TIEMEYER is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. During his BFA Acting in Musical Theatre studies at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, he took his Equity card while working with the Human Race Theatre Company. He went on to tour nationally, work regionally in New York, Ohio, Nebraska, St. Petersburg and Fort Lauderdale. He has had the distinct pleasure to have worked for Walt Disney World, performing in numerous shows spanning every park. 

 

He discovered his profound love and appreciation for dance when he learned in college, dubiously and ironically, that it would be something he would never be able to do at a very high level himself. Still, he enjoyed his dance classes and always signed up to be a part of the run crews for the annual dance concerts hosted by the dance department. 

 

His professional experiences with both non-profit and large corporate entertainment companies have provided him with a unique mix of production and show business acumen. He is thrilled to be managing The Dance Collective’s daily operations and strategizing for long term success and security of a home where we can Educate, Innovate, and Inspire young artists!
